No cookies, no tracking

The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or social media tools, so no consent banner is needed.

To improve the site, it counts daily totals itself, without cookies: pages viewed, buttons tapped (for example “Add to my calendar”), towns and filters searched, type of device, site you came from. Nothing is written on your device, no IP address is kept and no identifier is created: nobody can tell who did what, or follow a visit from one page to the next. These totals stay on our server, are shared with no one and are deleted after 25 months.

Fonts and mapping libraries are hosted on the site: your browser contacts no third-party service, except the OpenStreetMap base map when you open a map.

What stays in your browser

Your saved outings (♡), “who is coming” (number of adults, children's ages), the last town searched and the map layers you chose are stored in your browser (local storage), at your request. Your list is never sent to the site (see the anonymous counter below). You can clear them in your browser settings.

When you sign in with the code we e-mail you, a personal key (random, without your address) is kept in the browser: without “Stay signed in”, it is forgotten when the browser closes and lasts only 12 hours; with it, it lasts 1 year without use. “Sign out” (“My outings” page) deletes it immediately.

E-mail alerts and reminders

Only if you ask for them. We keep your e-mail address, encrypted, and your settings: areas, filters, sending day and time, reminders, and any saved outings you choose to attach to your sign-up. For children, only an approximate year of birth is kept. No name, no password, no IP address, no location.

Nothing is sent until you have confirmed your address; without confirmation within 24 hours, it is deleted. As proof of your consent, we keep the dates of sign-up, confirmation and last click in our e-mails.

Our e-mails are plain text, with no tracking image or tracked link. Each one lets you stop sending in one click. From the “My alerts” page you can change everything, download your data or delete everything immediately. If you do not click in any of our e-mails for 2 years, everything is deleted automatically (you are warned a month before).

Legal basis: your consent. The data is hosted in Switzerland by Infomaniak and is neither sold nor shared.

Anonymous counter of saved outings

When you save an outing (♡), the site adds 1 to a counter for that page without knowing who did it; your list stays in your browser. To count only once a day, a fingerprint of your connection is kept for less than 24 hours, never the IP address. This counter is only used to rank the most popular outings.

Location

The “Use my location” button asks your browser for permission. The position, rounded to about 100 metres, is used only to find the nearest town; it is not kept and does not appear in the page address.

Contact form

Your e-mail address and message are sent by e-mail to the publisher so they can reply; they are not stored on the site.

Technical logs

For security, the server keeps a log of errors and refused attempts for up to 90 days. IP addresses are not stored: they are replaced by a fingerprint that changes every day.

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of data about you, and contact the French data protection authority (CNIL, www.cnil.fr). Use the site's contact form.
